Ari S. Casper has a trial-intensive practice.  He regularly recovers millions of dollars for his clients in a variety of types of cases.  Whether Mr. Casper is advocating for a brain-injured client caused by medical malpractice or catastrophic accident, or a company bringing an action in a complex commercial dispute, his focus from the outset is on preparing the matter for trial, and maximizing the full value of each case.

Mr. Casper teaches trial practice as an adjunct at the Georgetown University Law Center and has been a guest lecturer at other law schools.  He also serves as a trial consultant for Fortune 500 companies in multi-district litigation matters involving hundreds of millions of dollars.

As a former federal prosecutor, Mr. Casper handled cases involving nation-wide wire and mail fraud schemes, corrupt public officials, and narcotics and firearms sales. Prior to joining the United States Attorney’s Office, Mr. Casper practiced in the litigation group at Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells), where he represented, among other clients, pharmaceutical companies in criminal and civil investigations, and professional sports organizations and corporate clients in complex civil litigation matters. He served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Alan M. Wilner of Maryland’s highest appellate court and intern to the Honorable Andre M. Davis of the United States District Court. Mr. Casper graduated first in his law school class, and was a member of the Law Review.

Mr. Casper is admitted to practice in Maryland State and Federal courts, the District of Columbia, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and is often admitted pro hac vice in other jurisdictions across the country.
